“Swordefish”
Well-traveled, well-loved, and meticulously maintained, this Federally documented vessel offered by the original owner who purchased Swordefish new in 1979 and sailed her extensively throughout the Caribbean; Bahamas, Cuba, Mexico, Jamaica and Beleize.
Repowered in 2007 with a Yanmar 53 HP for reliable propulsion, she starts first time, and purrs like a kitten. All the teak, inside and out, fairly gleams and is all in great condition! Awlgrip on the hull and deck. Custom-built hardtop dodger with removable Lexan windows and Eisenglas center windshield. Stainless steel and glass portholes. All Sunbrella bunk and settee cushions below, with 6” foam mattresses. Many custom cabinetry additions below deck for great storage. Plan B Layout features the V-berth forward and a single head. Chart table, galley and quarter berth aft. Central saloon with drop-down teak table-stows against wall for added room when not in use, seats 6 when extended. Full galley with double sink, pump water, Adler-Barber Refrigeration, and a second, deep icebox. Origo stainless steel alcohol 2-burner stove with oven. Built in AC system. Brand new head and never-used waste plumbing and holding tank. Custom Sunbrella handrail covers and hatch covers, brand new bimini. Plan B layout with V-berth and single head forward. The head is brand new as is the waste plumbing and holding tank. A large saloon boasts two settes, fold-down dining table that extends to seat up to 6. When folded up it is flat against the wall, taking up no floor space and conceals a wall bookshelf. The cabin is spacious and comfortable. Two overhead hatches with new lexan and custom sunbrella covers allows for great air flow or privacy as desired. 10 opening portholes. Built-in AC keeps the cabins cool and comfy in tropical locations. All Sunbrella upholstered 6-inch cushions below. Outside, the cockpit is large and comfortable, with a cockpit cooler and custom stowable teak table for leisurely cocktails or alfresco dining in your favorite anchorage.
