Sam Devlin design Onyx. 27'10" in length & 8'6" on the beam and draws 4'6"

The boat was built in Sam Devlin's boat shop to his high standards of construction and finish and launched in August of 2013.

She has a carbon fiber mast and boom.

Sails were sewn by Ballard sails and were cleaned and all stitching checked in winter of 2023. the foresail is roller furled. There is a cover for the foresail.

20 horse Yanmar 3 cylinder engine with 442 hours. Oil, filters and impeller have been changed anually. The starter was replaced in May of 2025.

The engine has a freshwater flush system and has been flushed after every use.

Batteries were replaced in 2022

Complete boat cover included. The boat has been covered whenever it is moored. The boat is hauled in October and launched in April. It is stored indoors during the winter.

She comes complete with all the safety equipment, hand held light, 4 fire extinguishers, throwable life ring, web ladder, horn

The boat has an automatic fire extinguisher built into the engine compartment. It can be used manually also.

Nigger comes with six large fenders and mooring lines. 

She comes with hot and cold water.

Rescue Case 6 man raft 2018. It should be serviced.
