Built by Robertson & Caine, the Leopard 42 is known for its modern design, spacious accommodations, excellent visibility, forward cockpit, comfortable helm arrangement, and strong liveaboard/cruising capability. Powered by twin 45 hp Yanmar diesel engines with saildrives and approximately 1,000 hours, this vessel is set up for reliable and efficient cruising. Onboard power is supported by a 6kW Northern Lights generator with approximately 125 hours, giving the vessel dependable backup power while away from shore.  The electrical system has been substantially upgraded for extended cruising and time at anchor. The boat features 3 x 300Ah RELiON 12V lithium house batteries, totaling 900Ah, along with three AGM starting batteries, a Quattro 5000W inverter/charger, Victron Cerbo GX, and BMV712 battery monitor. Solar power is provided by 4 x 370W SunPower solar panels, totaling approximately 1,480 watts, mounted on a custom stainless steel solar frame with an MPPT controller. Shore power is supported by dual 30-amp plug-ins with port and starboard connections.

Comfort aboard is enhanced by a Vimar air conditioning system supported by 2 x Mabru DC 12,000 BTU air conditioning units, allowing efficient cooling while cruising or spending extended time at anchor. The galley and refrigeration package includes a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher, Vitrifrigo refrigerators, interior fridge/freezer, cockpit refrigerator, and microwave. The vessel is also equipped with a Trident Marine LP gas control and detection system, adding an important safety feature to the onboard galley and propane system.

The boat features four interior heads with showers, electric flushing toilets, a fresh/saltwater selectable toilet flushing system, and an exterior hot/cold stern shower for rinsing off after swimming. All bedding is included with the boat, making the vessel even more turn-key for the next owner.

Sailing performance is supported by Doyle main sail and jib/genoa, along with an aftermarket Mack Sails furling Code Zero sail. The Code Zero is a 2.2 oz nylon true radial sail with UV suncover, set up with furling line and stanchion leads. The vessel is also equipped with two electric winches and one manual for sail handling, making sailing easier and more manageable.

The included tender package is a major value-add. The boat comes with an OC Tender 350 / 3.5-meter tender, which fits neatly on the stern using the vessel's davit/pulley system for easy launch, retrieval, and storage. Per the OC Tender 350 specification sheet, the tender measures 3.5 m / 11.48 ft overall, has a 1.60 m / 5.24 ft beam, a 119 lb net boat weight, a 97 lb carbon boat weight, a 20 hp recommended maximum, and a 1,003 lb max load. The model includes davit lifting eyes, oarlocks and oars, anchor bag, storage bags, seat blocks, bow guard, tiller extension, and other model features.

The OC Tender is powered by a 2022 Tohatsu 20 hp outboard with electric start and electric tilt. Tender motor hours are unknown. The tender is reported by the seller to plane with five people onboard and reach approximately 40 mph.

Navigation and electronics are well equipped, including Raymarine electronics, Raymarine MFD display, Raymarine AIS 700 with dedicated GPS and VHF antennas, autopilot, two Raymarine i80 displays, Quantum II radar mount, and a Fusion stereo package with salon and cockpit speakers. The boat also includes Starlink, making it well suited for remote work, extended cruising, and staying connected while underway or at anchor.
